Photinia Black Jack is a newly released version of the Photinia family of ornamental shrubs, grown for their magnificent coloured foliage and used most commonly for privacy screening. The Black Jack variety boasts a deeper maroon colour on its new growth tips and this colour lasts longer in season than all other varieties.

Photinias in general, are a fast-growing evergreen shrub with lush, glossy, green foliage, topped by brilliant red new growth. It is extremely durable as a screen, hedge, or mass planting.
